Go on a 52km hike without worrying about finding an available shelter or carrying a tent on your back. Stay comfortably in a cozy bed, be served delicious food, and enjoy a cozy and relaxing evening at Gudenåen. Watch Hjejlen sail by while enjoying a cold beer.
Day 1: The Eastern Part of the Route
The tour starts from Skyttehuset's Outdoor Camp and goes over Himmelbjerg towards Ry, Laven and Sejs-Svejbæk. When the day's trip ends in Sejs-Svejbæk you will sail across Gudenåen, where the host couple will be ready with dinner and have fun on the terrace directly down to Gudenåen.
If you haven't had enough exercise, you can rent a SUP board or a kayak, or simply put your legs up and enjoy dinner with a cold beer on the terrace while Hjejlen sails by. It won't be much nicer!
Today's route is 30 km.
Day 2: The Western Part of the Route
After a wonderful breakfast you will sail across Gudenåen back to Sejs-Svejbæk, then continue along the route to Silkeborg and further along the south side of Julsø and back to Skyttehuset Outdoor Camp.
You can eat on the way or order a lunch sandwich and go along for the ride.
If you need dinner or a cold beer, when you return the café is open and ready to cook for you.
Today's trip is about 20 km.

Practical information
When we receive your booking and the DKK 500 deposit, we will check the availability with our partners and you will hear from us within a few days. After this, you will receive final confirmation and invoice of the balance, which will be paid 6 weeks before the holiday.
If you have any questions in the meantime, please feel free to contact us. If there is no availability on the desired date, we suggest another date, and if it does not fit with your calendar, you will receive the deposit of the 500 kr. back. We look forward to sending you on a hiking adventure! 🌿
